WHAT IS HALO COAT?

HALO Roof Coat is an energy-efficient, easy to apply, liquid copolymer rubber roof coating that provides superior bonding strength, UV resistance, tensile strength, and durability to meet the extreme demands necessary for commercial / industrial roofs.  HALO Coat is both a primary roofing surface as well as a restorative surfacing product.

HALO Roof Coat is recommended for coating over flat or low-sloped roofs and all types of roofing materials, including: metal roofs, EPDM, APP, TPO, Hypalon, Polyurethane Foam, Rubber-like, Concrete, and Asphalt.

HALO Coat moves with the expansion or contraction of metal roofs to protect against weather.  HALO Coat also prevents rust and corrosion from returning or developing on metal roofs.

WHY IS HALO COAT ENERGY EFFICIENT?

HALO Coat is specially formulated to reflect the sun’s harmful UV rays and solar radiation, lowering the roof temperature.  Lower roof temperatures lead to extending the life of the roof by reducing the “thermal shock” stress associated with dramatic temperature changes, and ultimately reducing overall cooling costs by reducing interior temperature changes associated with roof leaching (seepage of hot and cold weather through roofing structures).

WHY IS HALO COAT EASY TO APPLY?

Primers and base coats are generally not needed when using HALO Coat.  The solvent base acts as a restorer for asphalt based surfaces and a penetrant and adhesive promotor for less porous surfaces.

 WHAT MAKES HALO COAT DURABLE?

Because of its unique formulation, HALO Coat is more likely to resist deterioration often associated with the weather than alternative roofing methods.   When applied according to the instructions, HALO Coat forms a seamless waterproof membrane, creating an air and moisture barrier between the outside world and your building.  As HALO Coat is formulated as a membrane, rather than a rigid surface material it is more likely to expand and contract with your roof through dramatic weather changes, providing a water tight surface.
